Not just for Christmas

Monday 1 December. Buying and maintaining your next bike. Meet at Mediapoint, Chapter Arts, Canton at 7 p.m. With Christmas imminent, this month’s meeting will focus on advice for prospective bike buyers. Richard from Bike Shed will be talking us through the options for buying a new bike and the questions you should be asking your retailer. Andrew from Cycle Training Wales will run through the maintenance essentials to make sure it’s not a short-live Christmas thing. We’ll also be looking at the options for second-hand or recycled bike purchasing. Contact: Nick Canham 029 20222016.

The Odyssean journey lasted no less than two and a half years and would almost claim his life on several occasions, but sheer will power and a quixotic passion to reach his promised destination were enough to see him finish safely. He later went on to write the novel ‘A Gringo’s Journey’ recounting his humorous and often arduous experiences. (more…)
