Sully and Cosmeston Lakes. Meet 10.00–10.15 on the Bute Park side of the Sophia Gardens footbridge. Out via Cardiff Bay barrage, then on to Penarth town. Along. the lanes to Cosmeston Lakes Country Park (refreshment stop). On to Captain’s Wife at Sully Island, Returning via Penarth. Easy or Moderate: 14 km (9 miles) or 25 km (17 miles). This is a linear route, with options to return at Cardiff Bay for those who do not wish to complete the whole distance. Contact: Robert 07967 127382.
