Stalling Down

Aberthin

12 August 2007. Food has become something of a theme through recent rides. This ride took us out through St Fagans and Peterstone-super-Ely almost as far as Cowbridge. We passed our pub in Aberthin and header up the climb to Stalling Down on the promise of seeing the crowds at Norman's Cafe. The gathering of leather-clad bikers must be a Sunday morning institution. Lycra didn't quite fit in, so we headed back down to Aberthin for a great lunch at the Hare and Hounds.

We took a different route back via Hensol Forest, and then stopped off at the Wild Fig Deli for ice creams and coffees. This ride was probably a bit longer than expected, but the weather was great.
